Natalie Gulbis visits the TaylorMade Performance Lab

Natalie Gulbis makes an appearance at the Grand Cypress TaylorMade Performance Lab prior to the LPGA Championship.

I received an email from Travis to attend, but unfortunately.. I wasn’t able. That’s one of the many downsides to being a hobbyist golf blogger, you get invited to some really cool events but can’t make most of them…

I’ve been to the TaylorMade Performance Lab twice so far, first time was a customer irons fitting and the second and most recent was a customer driver fitting, which should be arriving any day now!

It’s quite an experience and provides you with more data about your golf swing than you know what to do with.

I think when I head out there next time, I’m going to ask to have a side by side comparison of my golf swing against Natalie Gulbis’s. That or have him overlay the two avatars.. wonder if hers should be on top or bottom? 🙂 🙂

There’s little or no chance I’ll ever play a round with her in the real world, but in the virtual world of the TaylorMade Performance lab, I can at least swing a club with her… by proxy.

If you have any questions for Travis Kent (the lucky man who got to put those 26 sensors on Natalie Gulbis!), visit our Ask the Fitter page and either post your question in the comments section or on our “Ask the Fitter” thread and you are entered to win a FREE custom club fitting courtesy of the TaylorMade Performance Lab.
