Little Tidbid on Bubba Watson…

• He holds the record for the longest drive in the history of the Nationwide tour, launching a 422 yard tee shot 🙂

• One of three lefty’s to ever graduate from the Nationwide tour to the PGA Tour
• His driver has a pink shaft (verrry manly)

• Real name’s Gerry

• Currently Ranked #55 on the money list (1.6 mil)

• Married to a 6 ft 4 former WNBA Basketball Player who also serves as his agent 🙂 (he’s 6 ft 3, think she teases him? :))

• He his own clothing line called BubbaGolf

• Attended the same high school (Milton, FL) and played on the high school golf team with current TOUR player Heath Slocum and Nationwide Tour player Boo Weekley.

• Self-taught player who learned the game by hitting wiffle balls around his house.

• Is using the same putter he has had since he first took up the game.

Bubba Watson is one of my PGA heroes! Fellow Lefty Golfer from Florida.
