The New Titleist Pro V1 Live Webcast

With last week’s launch of the New Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls, the company wants to make sure Titleist fans are up to speed regarding the features and benefits of the new Pro V1 ball.

They’ve put out an open invite for all to attend a live webcast on Thursday, February 3rd, 2011 from 3:30-4:00pm EST.

The webcast will be  hosted by Bill Morgan, Senior Vice President for Golf Ball R&D, and Mary Lou Bohn, Vice President Golf Ball Marketing and Titleist Communications. These two will act as your tour guides and answer your questions regarding the golfer benefits and new technology of the New Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls.

Submit your questions about the New Pro V1 and Pro V1x here.

According to Titlest, the new Pro V1 provides the exceptional distance and durability golfers have counted on, and now also delivers increased spin control and a more consistent flight.

This advanced performance results from a new innovative ZG process core technology, responsive ionomeric casing layer, Urethane Elastomer cover and spherically tiled 352 tetrahedral dimple design. And with 3 axes of symmetry, our new aerodynamics deliver a penetrating ball flight that holds its line in the wind.

Players gaming the new ball will experience exceptional distance, consistent flight, drop-and-stop™ greenside control, very soft feel on all shots, and excellent durability.

This is the best ball you can get. For amateurs, this ball gives the best combination of distance, spin, and feel around and on the greens. Goes long and is durable! The Pro V1 will go farther because it will compress more for slower swing speeds, but because it is softer, and has more spin, it will also make those mis-hits of yours do a banana out of bounds. Stick with the V1x. Almost as far, less spin on drives, great feel and spin around and on the greens.
