Looks like Mr. Thorpe is going to plead guilty on two counts of faliure to pay income taxes. The plea agreement signed could net up to a year in prison, probation and fines. In addition he agrees to pay all taxes, interest and penalties owed to the IRS for 2002-2004.

From what I’ve heard, he’s a pretty stand-up guy and this could all be a huge mistake caused by his accountants.
His change of plea hearing is set to happen on September 22nd, 2009.
