Line Golfer – a way to waste an hour

I saw this over at Golf Girl’s Diary.  It’s a time waster called Line Golfer.

You get to design your own golf course and others can play and rate it.

It’s worth checking out, I *highly* recommend trying out some of the courses before attempting to build your own.

It’s not quite what you expect at first and if you jump right in (like I did) you’ll most likely throw your hands up in disgust, uttering un-pleasantries .. :)

I’m going to build one and link to it here for everyone’s playing pleasure :)

It looks like there’s two approaches to the courses, ones they build that are completely automated and ones that you can actually play.

The automated ones are alright, almost like watching a roller coaster but playing some of the courses is what will get you hooked.

If you’re looking to waste a few minutes and you have a creative streak, take a look and tell me what you think :)

I was expecting country music and lots of synchronized twirls and stomps 8=) I’ll have to try it out when I get some free time in a broadband place. It seems like the kind of game that I would enjoy.

This looks a little like etch-a-sketch with different colors. I’ll have to give it a try.

That’s probably one of the coolest simplest games ever. I found this a few months back on candystand. It’s definitely harder than it looks but once you get the hang of it, it’s actually kinda fun.
