There’s a blog I’ve been recently turned on to called Freakonomics written by some folks over at the New York Times. They wrote a post about a chance encounter made while on their pilgrimage to the birth place of golf and the once in a life time experience that became of it.
I think you guys will enjoy this read as much as I did. 
It makes me wonder though, if me and my golf buddies encountered the same person on the course, what sorta self-imposed handicap would he have to inflict upon himself? I’m thinking blindfolded, gagged and two severed thumbs would probably do it..

I think that the severed thumbs wouldn’t be needed, but tied upside down to the back of a golf cart would help even things out for me 8=)
