I think it’s more accurate to call it putting with a 3-wood because that’s what your actually doing. Check it out, I’m gonna head to the range today and see if I can duplicate the effort

I think your right on calling it putting verses chipping. I have tried that before and it actually works. Of course, I’m no Tiger Woods, and so when I say ‘it works’ I mean I was able to do it. It does make it easier to get good contact with the ball.
