Found this today and figured it’d be a fun thing to try and to write about. Here’s the link.
Golf Digest is offering a free “improve your game” service via the information super highway. All you do is create a profile include your handicap (if you need help calculating your handicap go here) and select which category you’d like to improve. The categories are:
– Power (role model: Brett Wetterich)
– Consistency (role model: Jim Furyk)
– Short Game (role model: Phil Mickelson)
– Scoring (role model: Sergio Garcia)
– Golf for Women (role model: Annika Sorenstam)
I’ve chosen Consistency.
Once you’ve created your profile you have access to: a library of golf lessons, progress tracker complete with printable scorecards where you’ll track GIR, putts, chips & pitches, sand shots and free swing analysis by the Jim McLean golf schools.
By signing up, your entered into a weekly drawing for free Cobra gear <woo!> and a grand prize for a golf getaway for two to the Marina Inn at Grand Dunes in Myrtle Beach, SC.
So, I’ll be doing periodic updates on my progress and hopefully see some improvement in my mostly pitiful game 🙂
